J.Crew Updates Website with New Arrivals!

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Silver_lining (in this post), who let us know that J.Crew had an update to its website (click here to view online).

There are some new arrivals for men (click here) & women (click here). {wahoo!} It looks like Crewcuts (click here) has been updated, but not the J.Crew Collection (click here).

I did not think there was an update to the website until I got J.Crew's email this morning announcing that there are two little words: new arrivals.

I do like the Peplum Tops that J.Crew is offering this Summer. The shape is super cute and it looks like it hits the right part of the body.

I know I mentioned this several times already, but I am disappointed with their skirts and dresses. I was hoping this roll out would bring back what is missing from their current offerings. Unfortunately, it did not.

Don't get me wrong, they have some nice pieces in each department. For example, I think the Tipped gamine dress (item 03347; $138.00) is really pretty. However, it is super short. If I bend over, I am going to expose something I do not want too.

Then there is the Silk Midi Skirt (item 03392). I am loving this classic piece! However that excitement diminishes greatly when I look at the price tag of $168. That is just too much to spend on a somewhat basic skirt. J.Crew needs to bring back cotton skirts at reasonable price points.
